ANSWERS:
1. It is not 100% known why teens commit suicide but those who attempt suicide and survive tell people that they felt like they didn't have the strength to fight the pain they were going through. Teens often have too many stressors that just keep them down and don’t know what to do about it. Teens who do successfully commit suicide usually suffer from mental disorders like depression which often go undiagnosed, untreated or both.

2. So most teens, about 80% of them, want to make others aware of their emotional pain and want help. Some warning signs given would be depression, talking about suicide, or unusually giving away possessions. Boys are more likely to commit suicide than a girl but both genders are always at risk of suicide. Suicide is a medical emergency and shouldn't be ignored.

3. One of the biggest thing that drives teens to committing suicide is the pain and when they feel like no one is going to help them. Stress is another factor that cause teens to commit suicide. Teens feel pressured to get good grades and think of a career and it can agitate them to a point where it becomes too much for them. The people they surround themselves around is also has a huge role. If they fill themselves with negative people eventually they’ll become negative too. Another huge factor is bullying. Bullying has been around for a while and it grows even more with technology. The repeated insults and demeaning sayings become believable and from there the teen is on a downhill battle.

4. Teens can help themselves fight suicide by always giving themselves time to think. Get yourself away from negative thoughts that are plaguing your mind. They should talk to someone during this period to relieve some of the stress. Calling a hotline when there isn’t anyone available to talk to you. If teens feel like they aren’t able to control themselves then always makes sure to not be alone. Teens should remember that “suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.”

5. First off, then can start by understanding the teens depression. Always be on the look out for signs of depression so you know what to do. Do not let the teen isolate themselves from friends or family. Keep them healthy and don’t let them stop eating even though they don’t feel like they want to eat. Best method is to sit down and talk to them. Don’t be afraid to ask them questions.
